How to Use Either and Neither

"Either" and "neither" are both singular adjectives meaning "one or the other of two." "Neither" of course means "not the first one and not the second one."
In formal writing, we usually use a singular verb because "either" and "neither" signal that one of the following nouns is the subject, but not both:

Either Bill or Bob is going to the conference. (One or the other is going, but not both.)
Neither Joan nor Jane likes sushi. (= Joan doesn't like sushi. Jane doesn't like sushi either!)
Notice that we say "either...or" and "neither...nor." In informal English, most people would say "Neither Joan OR Jane LIKE sushi." That's all right in conversation, but in formal documents you should prefer the formal usage.
Of course we have a confusing exception to this rule. You can use a plural verb if you have a plural noun next to the verb:
Either Joan or the Kennedys are going to the conference.
But put the singular noun closer to the verb, and it goes back to singular!
Either the Kennedys or Joan is going to the conference.
And it's the same with "neither":
Neither Jane nor her brothers like sushi.
Neither her brothers nor Jane likes sushi.
Of course the verb will be plural if both nouns are plural:
Either the Smiths or the Robinsons are meeting us at the station.
Neither the Canadians nor the Americans are interested in this problem.
Study the following formulas.

{neither/either} + noun + {nor/or} + plural noun + plural verb

Neither John nor his friends are going to the beach today.
plural noun plural verb

Either John or his friends are going to the beach today.
plural noun plural verb

{neither/either} + noun + {nor/or} + singular noun + singular verb

Neither John nor Jill is going to the beach today.
singular noun singular verb

Either John or Jill is going to the beach today.
singular noun singular verb

Examples:
Neither John nor Jane is going to class today.
singular noun singular verb

Neither Maria nor her friends are going to class today.
plural noun plural verb

John or George is bringing the car.
singular noun singular verb

Neither the boys nor Carmen has seen this movie before.
singular noun singular verb

Neither the direction nor the secretary wants to leave yet.
singular noun singular verb

Hanoi Street Food - The good and The bad

STREET FOOD
I am a person who enjoys street food very much. Definitely. I've experienced many yummy dishes during my time in Hanoi. 2 year. Some of it is delicious, some of it is satisfying, some of it is so bland that I won’t even notice I ate anything. But there’s nothing quite like getting to know a country’s culture by eating its street food – and street food is everywhere in Hanoi.

If you come to Hanoi, you will be attracted by the diverse cuisine here, especially street food. With the countless food stalls, the various dishes and the wonderful flavor, Hanoi is listed as one of Asia’s top ten greatest street food cities by CNN.

The variety of dishes and cooking methods, be it rolled, boiled, steamed, or fried...

Food Street's busy into the night with revellers often passing by for a post-party snack. For something different, Puku and Southgate are also located on Food Street. In theory it’s a pedestrian thoroughfare, but this seems to encourage especially mindless motorcycle antics. Be careful.

The best time to study

M Y  P O I N T
After receiving a lot of opinions on opposite sides about 'the best time for studying', I wanna write so bad though other things are occupying my time right now along with regular life.
I know that many people wonder when they can study more effectively (time of day). The answer can be very controversial.
While some of my friends like to get up early in the morning and study, most will say that late night studying is most productive. When it comes to brain power, they will say they perform better at night. I Do Agree because science seems to agree too.
But That Can Be A Problem! School starts early in the morning for most students, so the benefits of studying at night can be eliminated by the drowsiness of missing sleep. And i think it cannot deny that the amount of sleep you get will affect your academic performance.

T H E   A N S W E R   I S . . .
You should figure out if you are a morning person or a night person. You might surprise yourself. Try getting up early to study and see if it works out.
The Second Things I wanna share is the advices of Lara lomubus who can communicate with 10 languages that i mentioned in the previous posts. I learned from her and it really worked for me.
Studies have indicated that we are quite ambitious in the morning. This is because we have just woken up from what should have been a restful sleep. Since this is the time at which we are the most refreshed, our brains are going to take in information a lot better.
The best time to study is in the morning, when our brain is fresh, our study will not be disturbed by various outside activities. Before going to sleep is also a good time because there will be no more information interrupting your memory once you are a sleep.
Studying before bed can be advantageous because it will be the last thing that you do during the day. This means that your brain is going to spend more time processing the material that you have just finished looking over. When you go to sleep, your brain is going to process this information through the dreaming process.  When you wake up, you will find that you remember what you studied quite clearly.

Now I hope you have your own answer - what is the best time to study. Last but not least, having good studying habits is important if you wish to be successful as a college student. One secret to good studying is not about the time to study, it's about the ability to study at the same time each day.

How do you think? Let me see your opinion below.
